I am not sure that i am any good at it,

but i do like it alot. i think it is a very hard game for me, but it is a real good way to learn about other players

one second your up chips and it is real easy to be down the next

i entered the forum game earlyer and was taught a leason on what not to do, well i was the one left thinking i will try not to do that next time.

I just thought i would say i am enjoying HORSE

Hey Publey, glad you're enjoying your HORSE. It's a great game and is the ultimate test of a persons poker skill in my opinion. HORSE teachers you the fundementals of poker - not just NLHE. Also, if you work up a reasonable level of skill across all games, then playing HORSE cash games can be very profitable because many people at a HORSE casht able are only skilled/knowledgable in 2-3 of the games. Have fun playing HORSE and hope to see you in some of the forum games.

Omaha is just an insane game as it is. You never know who'll win until all five cards are down.

Wannabe moderators should be encouraging new posters to contribute to the forum, not be running them off with "justifiable sarcasm".

He bumped a month old post to say that a winner cannot be determined until all the cards are out. Also please stop trolling me. I am dead serious. Don't troll me.

Oh no, are you serious, really? Well if you are dead serious, I better never comment about you again. I'm not trolling you, I'm just pointing out your un-moderator like behavior. Maybe he's new and didnt realize it's a month old, either way, you are being a prick to him. Justify it any way you want.

Oh and telling me you're "dead serious" is funny. Should I be afraid of the consequences of pointing out that you are acting the opposite way of how a mod should act? LOL, you take yourself way to serious.

Missjugsalot, I've asked you to please stop trolling me. Perhaps the tone of my post in which I did this was a bit harsh, but I must admit that you get on my every last nerve. You are very outspoken in your political views and you seem to enjoy getting others riled by this with excessive mud slinging. This is why I have now avoided your obamaments thread for quite some time.

I think by now we all know that you don't think I should be mod, but I would really appreciate it if you wouldn't drag my name through the mud every chance you get. People can read my posts by themselves and form their own opinions of me. They don't need you there at every turn to point out my personality flaws.

I do not think of myself as someone who takes myself too seriously, and I don't think many would agree with that statement. That is why you see so many posts by me where I throw myself out there with wild egotistical claims knowing that I'm going to get it from some people. It can be fun, and I think the people that respond the most negatively to these posts are the ones who take themselves too seriously. The reason for my serious tone in this thread is as I have already stated, you get on my very last nerve. I'm sorry if I blow up because of this, but perhaps you could be sensitive to this fact and try not to provoke me, and we would all get along much better.

I really try to stay away from your posts because it usually leads to fireworks, but when you follow me around trying to provoke me, this becomes almost impossible. In conclusion, I would really appreciate it if you could restrain yourself from trolling me in attemps to promote your "anti-strasse" campaign.

Been away, sorry for the late reply. That was a very moderator like response, if you could just be like that all the time, there may be hope for you yet.

I was not trolling you, I just stumbled across it and replied. There's no anti-strasse campaign, LOL. When you put yourself out there asking for mod support, you are asking to be scrutinized.

I do not agree that I engage in "excessive mud slinging". Obamaments has turned out to be a great thread. Obv others agree. You have been reading it, and you know it's not a bunch of "mudslinging". My opinion is shared by many, you can discredit me but not my point of view.

You also annoy me highly at times, so that feeling is mutual, however you propose a reasonable solution. I accept.

OK ... to get back on track ... I love HORSE too.

I play HORSE for fun ... and to avoid becoming one-dimensional (since when has hold 'em become THE game?)

I've been playing poker for more than 40 years (yeah, I'm an old guy) ... mostly live "friendly" games ... dealer's choice. Man, there's some really strange games in those sessions. HORSE, I think, comes close to defining a real poker player ... one who can think, who can adapt, who can win.

Just my $0.02. Smile
