You have to accumulate enought points to get the bonuses. 1 point=$.06, and you have to at least 10% of your initial deposit or $20 (whichever is less) for the dough to hit your account.
You get points by playing in raked games and tournament fees.
Someone correct me if I've made a mistake here...I'm pulling this from memory.

It does take awile to earn your bonus. You get 1 point for each dollar raked from pot. Each point is worth $0.06. Bonus is paid out in increments of 10% or $20. You can view your current bonus earned in cashier by clicking on Bonus details. Yes, it takes awhile. I played 133 hands at $2/$4 tables and earned just over $5 of bonus.
Rake structure here...

This is somewhat deceptive advertising. But then again, it's a poker site....go figure. Obviously, you always have to read the fine print, but it does seem like A LOT of people are having trouble getting this bonus when so many people probably chose this site for that very reason. And it hasn't failed so far that I lose a very close hand or go on a very nasty run of bad cards in the S&G just after I earn the bonus. No, I'm not saying there is anything unethical going on, but the timing is quite odd.
Just like brick & mortar casinos, they always make it real easy to spend your money, but much tougher to get it back out. Hell, there was a lady that was banned from a local casino here and they let her spend all the money she wanted undetected until she finally hit a decent jackpot. Then they had her escorted out by security and didnt pay up. Stupid greedy mf bastards!!!
Show us the $$$ FullTilt, we know you can afford it! |

I've gotten about $400 of my bonus back, but it's taken a while, and I don't think I'll get the rest before I finish.
It is possible though - I didn't play nearly as much in my first couple of months as I have in the last month... Just don't think of it as a sure thing, and realize that all it represents is a discounted rake, since that's what its payout is based on. |

you know, maybe they really didn't know the banned lady was there - after all, they can't keep track of everyone in the casino. When she won a large jackpot, she was brought to their attention. Logical enough to me. Also, if you're banned, don't play there. And definately don't complain when you don't get your winnings.
As for the bonus, I have earned all of mine - it took about a month, but it wasn't too bad. All sites are like this - otherwise, people would just deposit, get the bonus, and leave right away without actually playing at all. Makes sense to me... |

Jaconda: Do you mind saying how much you initially deposited? Would you say any particular table limit is ideal for having a chance at getting the total bonus back in the allotted time? Certainly you must be a winning player to see a net positive result. I just think the site should be a lot clearer on the amount of hands that could be needed to achieve the bonus whether you end up winning in the long run or not.
My story about the banned casino customer was just to say that gaming sites have a lot of traps. She was surely in the wrong for playing there after being banned, but the system still allows for them to take her money. Some casinos use ID cards for all players so they can probably screen out banned people or problem gamblers. And online casinos seem to have other ID checks that screen out undesirables. |

Hmm. Upon thinking about this, I remember that my deposit was very small - only 50 (it's up to 300 or so now, though, and I withdrew the bonus), so it not really apply to your situation. However, the best way to win the bonus back is to play cash games. Don't pick a limit that gets you the most bonus - pick one that's within your BR. The NL tables earn the most rake, and hence the most FTPs, and hence the most bonus. Just keep playing, and if you dont bust, it'll come. Think of it as a nice payday every once in a while . |

| Any tournament or SNG with a fee gives you 7 FTP per dollar fee, so you'll get $.42 back per dollar. |

| Umm, not quite. You still earn FTPs in tournies and SNGs, like so: if a tourny (or sng) costs X+Y dollars to enter, you get 7*Y FTPs (not 7*X or 7*(X+Y), like many think). Those earn you bonus dollars same as FTPs earned in ring games - 6 cents per point. |

Sorry, I wasn't explicit about distinguishing between the tourney fee and the buy-in. Perhaps my terms are wrong anyway. |
