When playing low limits (I'm assuming this is what you are playing), you are going to see this type of play allot. Nothing you do is going to get these people to fold. Tighten up and when you do hit a decent hand, make them pay for it(and they will). As long as you have the best hand, you don't want them folding, you want them calling unprofitably. Hope this helps. Also, in this type of game, don't bother bluffing or slowplaying.

If you keep on getting into situations like that, you will make money in the long run. My guess is that you are just experiencing some bad variance. Just play through it. You should encourage people to play that badly. Also, if they will call your raises anyway, then maybe you should adjust and just limp in with hands that you might normally raise with. Then just pounce when you flop the nuts or big draws to the nuts. Just playing tight is enough to win at the low stakes games.

its alright you want those players to play exactly like that,(trying to defeat the odds)lol. you will get paid off by the donks eventually but you just have to stick with it and play you game and not let it affect you and start playing like them just because one or two people keep on hittting the river. My main advice would just be to tighten up and also test to see how much they want to pay for a draw when you got the nuts. Hopefully.

To reply I think not only is the stakes important, but the type of game- ring, sng, mtt is important in the way of dealing with these situations, as well as chip count when in tournament. Sorry for the bad run on sentence.

Eh. You know you're doing the right thing. You can't help the beats. Push your big hands knowing they'll call and play large draws more conservatively (wraps, nut flush draws, etc.)
