mid pair, backdoor str8 & flush possibilities, decent sized pot, enough to peel a card on the flop? Thoughts?

| I want to criticize the flop peel, but I'm probably taking one off in that spot (9-1 or thereabouts). I'm not sure it is a smart move, but at 10-1 I almost always go to the turn. |

80% of the time I play it as you did, 20% of the time I c/r the flop. Depends on opponents, but thats one of those places where you gotta mix it up, particilarly if you've played a hand similarly in the last 3 orbits.
I'm not a huge fan of leading the flop, but it could give you some extra info about who else has what. Trouble is it kinda locks you into leading the turn if you get any callers. |
