I was wondering what are the necessary adjustments needed from Omaha Hi PL --> Omaha Hi/lo Limit. From what I have seen so far, hand selection is definitely one of them, as specially in cash game, but what else, in terms of betting, players etc. since I'm just starting to learn this game

I also just learning. But I have found it profitable to bet when u have the nut low , and a strong shot at the high...which I have then later found out is called scooping when successfull. So scooping is really what is about in Hi/Lo

In my opinion, too many players just play the lo hand. Thing to remember is that there will always be a high hand and not always a lo. Only bet on lo when you definately have it,don't bet on hope. 8)

I started playing omaha hi/lo at first. Cash games and sit N gos. I then moved to omaha hi once i discovered that there are so many more fish in that game. I think its best to start playing 8 or better at first so u can be more well rounded when u move to hi, because the level of player is far better in hi lo u will be a better hi player. Overall i think 8 or better is far better than hi because u play more hands and involves more skill.
