I play a little triple draw at another site (not very good at it but I like it)
I understand the A-5 but was playing 2-7 and wasnt thinking I had 23456 and raise to the cap and lost of course (DUH its called 2-7) to 23457.
can someone tell me why 23456 isnt the nuts in this game? |

| In 2-7, straights and flushes count against you, and aces are high. Hence, the best possible hand is the lowest non-straight hand, or 23457 (not a flush). |

The worst poker hand wins.
The exception is because Aces are always high, A5432 is not a straight and thus beats any other Ace-high and, and any pair.

The thing I'm not sure to do is what to throw back when I have 34567, I've been tossing the 6 'cause that way the only way I can get a straight is if they give me the 6 back. Whereas if I tossed the 7 there would be two ways to get a straight (a 2 or a 7). |
