Seat 6: mojo17 didn't bet (folded)
Seat 8: bcktoobck300 showed [4c Kc Qd As] and won (14,670) with HI: a full house, Kings full of Queens
My point being that he obviously has a King and overcards to the 4 whereas my hand cannot improve. Whereas he potentially has 3 cards to make a higher boat. |

It is a tough situation, but yes I think you do. He's likely to not have the same hand, a K with a stronger draw is more common. The fact that you had the same hand then he was able to redraw sucks, but it happens. It is a big enough hand to flop pat and continue with, without any backup.
Mod Note-Moving this over to the O8 section. |

Yes, I think you usually have to commit yourself here.
But I might play it a little different myself and just smooth call the flop. You've got 4085 chips left after calling, and you can get at least 4000 chips in the pot on the turn and the river.
By getting it in earlier, all you can do is scare somebody off who you don't want to scare off (the guy who folded to the 3-bet on the flop). You've got no fold equity against any opponent who you want fold equity against -- anybody with a reasonable draw to beat your hand isn't folding. |
