Hello
I am mostly a PL Hold'em player, and only recently I started playing NL Omaha Hi. I have to say that Omaha must be the most mathematically challanging out of all the poker games. Do you guys know of any good books that discuss the probabilities of Omaha and the most succesfull way of interpreting pot odds in this game. |

| you are absolutely right. It was suppose to be the other way around. NL holdem, and PL Omaha hi. |

| I play nlO in ring, just not at tilt. Whether it's nl or pl doesn't change the math. Too bad I can't guide you to a good book offhand. |

I'm not really sure about books specifically for odds, but...
This link has a few omaha books:

Some other books I have heard of (not sure how good they are, though) include:
How Good Is Your Pot-Limit Omaha by Stewart Reuben
Secrets of Professional Pot-Limit Omaha by by Rolf Slotboom
Additionally, the PLO sections of SS2 and FTP Strategy Guide Tournament Edition are apparently fairly good.

Winner's Guide to Omaha Poker by Ken Warren has an entire chaper on the 56 differences between Hold'Em and Omaha as well as odds charts and out percentages.
It also talks a lot about High-Low so some of the recommendations get confusing. |

| I do not know any good books, but one thing I know is that after you figure out the odds, there is a lot more important things you need to know. there is knowing how to bet, how to read people, how to get people to call/fold their hands without risking it all. The one most important thing I have learned by playing poker on this website is that if you are bluffing, it is better to raise it about one third of the other peoples chips. Then they think you have an amazing hand and want them to call, where as if you go all in people tend to think you are making them risk it all because of your insecurity of your hand and that you dont want them to call. |
