Seems standard, except that you missed a value bet on 6th street. With one card to come, you're favored over Villain no matter what he has in the hole.
There's a case to be made for check/calling the river, but given Villain's passive play on 3rd and 4th, I think that betting the river is fine, you're rarely going to get punished here for betting out, and you'll probably get paid off by a 9 low a good bit of the time.
What would you have done on the river if Villain had raised you? |

I'd probably have to call. The way he played that hand so passively, it seemed to me that he either started with a pair, or had a brick in the hole. Who knows, he could have started with 223. I couldn't see him just calling with A23 and checking with A236. Also, the pot was so big I think I have to call for one extra bet. |

It's true hero is guaranteed to be ahead, but since villain's hand was so weak (I guarantee he didn't start A23), hero actually squeezed one more bet out of him by checking 6th when villain was drawing dead (and likely to fold) and betting the river instead when it was possible villain would make a 9 low and pay him off. Not sure if that's what hero's strategy was, but worth considering the next time if you think the villain is most likely drawing dead. |

Yea that's basically what I was trying to do. I also am very doubtful he started with A23 and just smooth called, along with checking with A236... pretty sure he started with 223. |
