I'm not complaining here but I'm raising my hand in response to the question, "Who went out first Sunday night?"
Me, me, me. Kei had raised it up about 3 or 4 times in a row, finally I decided to give it a call on the button with KJ. Flop came K,J,10. I threw out a raise...got my butt re-raised...thought, "Oh man...AQ really? F-it, I'll go all-in anyway."
AQ Really.
Until next week...

You didn't get to see the final hand. My AA vs.zipster's KK I only limp in hoping to double up, being the shortstack. flop comes xKx, I go all-in, and am busted. There were some wicked suckouts on the night too ( a few of them mine), it was a great tournament. |

Ya doogie ur lucky u made it that far after catchin a runner runner straight on someone when u were all in. I got the worst beat on Kei i think. I tried stealing the blinds from the button with Q4 and Kei just called. The flop came Q-A-4, he bet the pot and i pushed all in, which was immediately called by big slick. First thing i think is how lucky i am that he played his hand so weak and that im gonna double up to 10 Gs. My hopes were dashed however, when an ace came on the turn, and just to rub it on my face, a king came on the river as well. Dude played his hand bad, but ended up gettin real lucky in the end. Thats ok though, ill be back next week to seek my revenge |

Doh! So who won it?
Hey Gliewe...at least you were ahead at some point during the hand eh? I was playin' on the "luck" factor with mine. Hehe. Hope to see you guys/gals this Sunday...if I can steal a little wireless connection at my cabin in Big Bear that is. Keep your fingers crossed, not only am I addicted (did I say that? Inside voice, inside voice!) to poker, but I am quickly becoming addicted to this forum as well. I hope the wireless network gods are on my side. |

I don't really think I played it bad. I hadn't been getting many good cards and I was playing tight the whole night anyway. I was raising a lot of hands, but that's because early on I had solid holdings and if i ran into a reraise, i could fold it down easily.
I'm not one to overplay AK, and I figured if I flopped my Ace or King I was leading you. I put you on a smaller ace, or maybe Kx and just trying to steal.
I don't really feel I played it badly, you got lucky with that flop, just as I did on the turn.
And all I can say about that board of 5555x to have my QQ lose to AK was that was pretty damn funny. |

LOL yeah that's typically not how AK beats QQ.
And gypsydc, I was the shortstack, so I was busted on the hand. |
