I'm surprised nobody asked this question yet: couldn't Chris press a button and see all his opponents pockets, or even better, press another button and deal a flush to you and a full house to himself on the river?...They say he put together the team of programmers who designed the Full Tilt Poker software, so... 
I bet you he'll go all the way to 1 mil. It'll take him maybe a few years, but hey, not bad, I wouldn't mind making one million in a few years! |

| Just for clarification, an independent company created the software. It was the same company that created Pokerstars software. If you click on the Help icons on both clients and click about, it's nearly identical info. |

| I just cant stop laughing. I have seen Chris Ferguson tell an opposing player they have over bet the pot 3 times after the dealer missed it. iI like to think im honest, and i would probably not say anything in his place . It must be really hard to be you . |

I think along with everyone else i take this as a accusation thread.....u need to have proof b4 u "hint" to the fact that a well known professional player such as Chris Ferguson would do something like your suggesting....Chris appears to be nothing but honest and everyone in the poker world thinks highly of him.....he is often helping ppl with advice on improving the fundamentals.....next time get proof b4 posting a thread such as this cuz if i was Chris Ferguson i would be offended by this.....and for the record Chris does not call himself "Jesus" that was a nickname given to him based on his appearance with the long hair saying he "looks like Jesus" |

The only reason the "About" boxes are similar is because both software packages use the OpenSSL software to secure the connection between the client and server, and the OpenSSL license requires those disclosures:

I would be really surprised to find the same development firm created the client/server software for both companies. If that was the case, then you'd expect to have 5 card draw and 2-7 here at Tilt. |

True enough Ferguson has his Ph.D. in Computer Science and I would assume that makes him competent to handle much of the programming, but I suspect he did little of the actual writing of code.

Advertising, sure. As a personal challenge, no doubt. But "for the money?" I seriously doubt it. Given his earning potential the challenge would have been a serious blow to his income. No, this wasn't about the money this was about seeing if he could pull it off.
