Well I started the table with 20 bucks and was up to about 70 ....then this hand happens...After the reraise...he had to at least know I had nut flush and at WORST trips Kings...yet he still calls with top two. Back down to 17 dollars at the table and have to start from square one...man I hate these kind of hands.

| Well, to answer your question of "what can you do?", you can fold preflop. That's not a very good hand to play, especially to play for a raise. |

| It was a mini raise from a similar hand. Perhaps most hands were getting small bumps pre-flop. |

I still wouldn't even limp that hand. |

| your hand lost to 2 pair when the two pair filled up? This happens thousands of times a day. Was this really deserving fo a forum post? |

OBV you don't play much Omaha, Th 5s As Ts is not that good of a hand. You have an ace with a horrible kicker, at best your going to get lucky and hit trips or hit a flush draw.
Dekuman your re-raise on the flop doesn't make sence, OBV Steinbeisser or BOmanOTH have hit that flop and have an actual hand, you are on nothing but a draw. Sure its a "Royal Flush" draw, but seriously...that Jack of spades isn't coming...
IMO your flop play was horrible. |

Good read Mate-you are too good for us. The fact that he flopped the nut flush would surely put him on a draw.
Nothing you can do here except as strasse points out-fold pre flop.
Your low draw is putrid, your pair is putrid, All you have is As10s.
Also, on the flop maybe don't commit all your chips. What if your opponent had KK in his hand? See what the turn brings-If it doesn't pair the board, then get your chips in. |

I'd rather you played this hand from the BB or SB where it's a discount to see the flop, but sometimes you cant wait all day like Strasse for good cards.
Since you're in, all you can really hope for is a rainbow flop containing a Ten; a 234; or a thin chance of the flush.
Once the villain pots it ahead of you, you have to put him on the J high flush, or a set (definitely not 2 pr).
Either way, repotting him may not be the best move since you either only get him to fold (= less money), or make him commit his draw for the boat. Flat calling his big raise lets him think he may be ahead of you or that he can push you out on the turn. Either way you get to see the turn card before committing your whole profit. If he does have the J high flush you can pot it on a safe turn card. All the while you dont have to worry about the low robbing half your pot.
Of course his play was FAR worse than yours, but who is really surprised..

I'd usually fold preflop. Then again, you have a player who is willing to put all his chips in with 2 pair on a one suited flop. So maybe you should play every hand.
Don't worry about it, he got lucky. Reload and win your money back, the guy who won this hand is trying to give them away, obviously. |

| With the nut flush get as much money in the pot as you can. If he has a set of kings you are a 56-44 favorite to win the hand. You have the very best hand and he is drawing. Top two is even worse for him as he has only 4 outs instead of 10. If you call his bet, he is not really getting a free card because he has committed money, but make him pay for all his money to draw. If he does, he is making a mistake and that is all you can ask of poker. If you have Broadway, and no flush draw to go with it, you can only call because he may have you tied and be freerolling for the flush, but you can't be tied for the nut flush and there is no hand that is a favorite to beat you. Get all your money in on the flop. Too many times, I've slow played the nut flush and gotten drawn out on. Peddle the nuts!! |
