| Maybe he figured that you both had aces since you were both raising so much, which would give him a pretty good odds for winning a three way pot. In fact, he was 44% to win the hand (http://www.cardplayer.com/poker_odds/omaha#). That is pretty good odds to win, especially in a 3 way all in getting 2 to 1 on his money. But yeah, this is a pretty bad beat considering he only wins a measely 44% of the time. Do you complain when an AK outdraws your 66 in holdem too? |

| drtre is rite ur the donk for cryin as if AA lost to 72 in my mind thats a pretty nice call especially in a 5 dollar multi table tourny with 9944. Maybe if u slowed down for two seconds and saw a flop you would not hit and folded to the winning hand |

Double suited, two pair starting hands almost always have decent equity in a preflop all-in situation. He'll make a set by the river over 36% of the time, and he'll make a flush by the river over 14% of the time.
It's a gambling move, for sure, and I don't think I would have done it in his situation, with over 39 BBs left in his stack if he folds to the second raise (calling the first raise is just standard set mining -- the stacks are deep enough to give him the implied odds he needs). But his pre-flop push is not a donkey move either. If he actually does put both raisers on AA, it's actually a hugely +EV move for him (you guys are holding each others' outs). |

With a raise and a reraise I put you both on at least KK or AA and somewhat suited. So I have double suited and double pair If I were a gambling man Id call.
Also first off you aonly have A A K 5 once suited so you are weak to a few hands and with the one guy reraising you you have to think you are dominated. Also the guy didnt call you with a worse hand he reraised all in over both of you maybe it was a move. Or gambling time.
Also the odds were
Ah Ks 5s Ac - 9.78% win 36.41% tie
As Ad Kc Kh - 9.59% win 36.41% tie
9d 9h 4d 4h - 44.21%win
So Id be liking his hand at the time. |
