I've played 3 seperate $2.00+0.25 PLO 9 person SnG' today. In all 3 I got off to a great start, had a pretty decent chip lead. I guess im just looking for advice or something to help my confidence. These hands i'm posting all crippled, and put me on tilt. I kept my cool between SnG', but kept losing huge pots with made hands vs people drawing a boat. I'm so frustrated right now, I feel like I should just throw away straights and raise constantly w/ 2 pr or a set. I dont know, I just know I played these hands perfectly, and came out **** in the end.

I just can't see how I could play these hands any better, I played them perfectly and I get ****. I throw away 2 pr to an obviously made straight all the time, why are these morons calling and making boats? Crying or Very sad

Why are you playing AK82? Why do you not know the difference between a bet, raise, and reraise? Why did you open limp the first hand? Play it for a raise or fold it. You played pretty loose / weak preflop, which is standard at these PLO sngs.

- Raise preflop to build a pot for when you hit.
- Get it all in on the flop in case a scare card hits and shuts him down. You have the best hand here with your monster draw.

Hand 2
-------------
- Preflop I'm ok if table image is one where you can limp a lot. Otherwise, I'd fold or raise given the people behind me.
- Nothing you can do about that. Call it variance and move on.

Hand 3
-------------
- Muck it preflop.
- As played, I'm ok with this given your stack. Sometimes you'll be the favorite, and sometimes you're looking for that flush draw.

ak82 was me on tilt. I was being blinded off, and hadnt got anything resembling a decent hand in 15-20 hands, ak82 was gold compared to what I had been getting. I had to make a move while I still had 500+ to have any chance for a comeback or to atleast make it into money. Any hand I got into I was going to have to move in, flopped a wheel and flush draw, it was golden for me.

I don't know why I'm scared preflop with connectors, I usually limp with them. Guess I have to get more confident preflop. Ya'll didn't say anything really about my postflop play, so I'm assuming I didn't play that bad @ flop & turn. Just have to get used to raising preflop with drawing hands.

Oh big slick, sorry I meant bet and raise in the first hand history, I was a bit flustered at the time... Embarassed
