I'm still getting used to Omaha and Omaha H/L. Did I play this bad, or was I ok for thinking I had the best hand with no one else betting or raising? Thanks for your help.

Yes, you played this hand bad, but not because you raised when you hit the 4. You played this hand bad because you played this hand. This hand is ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE in omaha hi/lo. Middle cards are the worst, if you hit a nice high hand w/ them, you will only win half the pot, since there will be a low out there. If you are going for low, it is a bad low, and you will hardly ever win it. This hand should be instantly mucked from any position on the table.

Strasse, I looked at that link that you posted in another thread, and after reading that, I now see how horrible this hand truly was. I think someone posted that this may look like a playable hand if you're used to Hold'em, and that is exactly my situation. I will be using the point system to try and guide me, and may post some HH for comments. But, thank you Strasse for your help, I appreciate it.
