Ok...so, the best heads-up SnG I ever won went like this:

First hand, $10+.50 SnG
Me: Ac4s
Him: KcQh

So I raise pre-flop, he calls, we go to the flop...yep, 2 clubs and a king drop.

I have him on a high pair at this point, but this early in the tournament I'll easily back away from it, just to not lose a lot of chips.

From his bet, I had him on a medium pair, possibly 10-10, or even king-kingon the flop, nothing major, but SOMETHING, and something that would beat my ace-high easily.

But...he didn't bet much on the flop. Minimum bet...so I figure he's got something but he's drawing to the flush. Sure enough, a 3rd club drops..and I bet off about 1/3 the pot. He waits...then calls. Now I have him on that pair of kings, hoping for a flush, king, or queen on the river.

And....

Qc drops! Hoo-ha! Got my ace-high straight, and he should know I have some piece of it.. But when I go all-in with it, I'm thinking I'm pretty smart here. No way can I see him calling the all-in on the 1st hand, even if I'm right and he has the king. So I win a small pot with a big hand...big whup. Sure enough, she calls with that Kc and I have the match, easiest $10 I ever made.

Still my best moment in poker so far (it's only been 3 weeks, ease up there buddies!), but I later fell prey to basicly the same situation.

With Kh and let's say 4h (this is heads-up again, btw), 3 hearts comes on the flop. I bet aggressively, but not TOO aggresively. Want to give him a shot to make a hand, but don't want him to try to go all in just yet. There was the possibility of a straight flush, or just a straight, so I wanted him to think I was drawing to the straight.

He only called, another heart on the river...I went in, figuring now he either had the Ah (highly unlikely) or he was planning on getting out anyway and just needed a nudge. Sure enough, he called, and with only an Ah he made a higher flush than mine and I was toast.

While I feel the circumstances were different, and I'd probably do mine again if things were the same, that first A high flush of mine is still my favorite moment in poker.
