I thought this would be an interesting question. If anyone has ever played with me, they know I never shut up.  I've had comments from "You're a real pleasure to play with. You liven the table up." to "Shut the hell up!"
If you play with me, be warned though, even the mute doesn't work on me!
So, I was just wondering what everyone's thoughts are on chatting it up at the tables? |

I try to engage in conversation with people just to be friendly and make the game generally more fun, whilst sometimes they give away little bits of information  . But i've done that a couple of times too 
The most pleasant comment i've had about me said, 'You're a very good sport in poker, i wish there were more people like you' That was nice  |

| I don't talk when I am multi tabling, takes away from the concentration level. I only talk non poker things if I do talk. Sports, etc. |

Definitely a nice comment. And. Due to the fact that I never shut up, I'm sure I give away tons of information! LoL. |

| I usually don't talk at all at the tables, and sometimes I won't even respond if I am confronted. There's nothing wrong with conversation, but I feel obligated NOT to befriend my opponents... Especially online where so much money can be lost in such a short span of time. |

| I chat a lot more in B&M poker than i do online, i will actually chat someone up online, but usually only if i know them from the real world, or online somehow... thats not to say i never chat to anyone else however, as i do. |
