sit'n go's have either 9 or 18 players (your choice as to which tournament you choose)...
the top 3 make money in the 9 player sit'n go's, the top 4 make money in the 18 player ones...
the blinds go up at a steady rate, and antes are eventually added (usually around the 120/240 blinds) |

antes arent added to sit n goes... unless they go an abnormally long time, i think... i'm not home now, so i cant check the structure...
but for the new guy, if you click on a running sit n go while you have the software open, open the tournament lobby, and click on tournament info... you should be able to see a blind structure |

The only real differences with a regular tourney are:
1. There is no set start time - it starts when the established number of players have registered (source of the name)
2. Number of registrations is capped (see 1)
As far as strategy, play it a lot like a final table (or two) in a regular tourney. They're a great way to get final table experience before you make it to a final table.

Antes are added, but often SnG's don't make it that far. I have seen a few go the distance, though. |
