I guess I am asking which cash games and how much should I buy in for if I have only $50 to start with?

With that bankroll, you should probably stick to 5c/10c $3 cap cash games, $2 SNGs, and $1 MTTs.

So...should you always buy-in cash games with 5% of your BR (up to the buy-in limit) or is the 5% rule the MAX you should bring in. IE, is it ok to start with less? Also, I played a cash game starting with the stated 5%, 3 hands later I was over 10% of my BR so I quit when the blinds reached me. They question is do I just quit? or should I cash-out and enter the table again with 5% and start over? If I feel like I have a good table to profit from should I just continue on playing? How do you judge when to stop?

With the exception of Omaha, I'd recommend buying in for the max when it comes to cash games. So if you play 5c/10c, you should buy-in for $10, and have a bankroll of atleast $200. As for your situation, I guess it depends. If you can handle playing (or losing) 10% of your bankroll in one session, and feel you can easily profit from the table, feel free to keep playing. But if you feel that you'll tilt easily (be honest with yourself), or have no real reason to keep playing the table (haven't been playing great and just getting lucky, or another table at the same stakes would be just as soft) then feel free to stand up and go to a new table.

Where? Not here at FTP, I looked all over and have yet to find one freeroll for usa players. There may be one but if it is , I can't find it and it would probably have 10,000 players in it. Now theres plenty with FTP points buy ins, but those are not really freerolls. Are these the ones that Chris played? I' m sure he had plenty of points to play in them. I'm trying to do this at another site. I started two weeks ago. I won 70c in a freeroll (open to everyone). I played in 1c/2c limit game for one week. I build it up to 5 bucks . Moved up to 2c/4c. I'm at $16.20 now after two weeks. Moving up to 5c/10c after I reach 20 bucks. My aim is to reach $10,000 faster than Chris.

Make sure you have downloaded from .com. Go to Real Money > Tournaments, sort by buy-in, and then scroll down to all of the ones that say "Freeroll" and "Restricted". Scroll through all of those until you find the ones that say "United States $100 Freeroll" on the right. Click on the blue link that says "Register Here", and it should take you to a link that allows you to register.

Feel free to ask me any questions.

GL, I've been trying something similar as well, and have been relatively successful.

I'm using Chris's method to try and make a nice bankroll, but im starting at $50. I must admit its extreamly challenging and full respect to the man. Sitting on tables with $2.50, is something I wish not to do for long!

Well I've had a good day at Chris's method and I must say I love it. I would reccommend it for any players out there who love their poker but are serious tilters (guity as charged).

I played at the low stakes all day and although fighting it out with $2.50 is tough, it can be rewarding in time. I made $10 on the day and if I make that every day for a week I shall be pleased. I got broke a few times by bad beats but I could always come back and make up for what I lost. Very Happy

Well I've reached the $70 mark now. Took me a few days to do it but I'm very happy with the way its gone. I reached the mark in some style too. After suffering a bad beat I was down in chips but kept plugging away waiting for the right cards. I won a huge pot with Ace's so reached the landmark. My next target is $100 and I am playing well so I hope to hit it within one weeks time.
