Team Full Tilt,
Is there any way to maybe have tournements for points with cash prizes?I think it would be well liked by all on the site. If you want to see this change replie to this and lets see if we can make it happen!!

| they do sort of offer these tournaments. you win tokens instead of cash, but its pretty much the same thing |

It's not the same thing at all. What the original poster is talking about is tournaments where you win points, not cash, similar to what UB offers. In the current set up, only the winner (or final table, for the 500 FTP ones) gets anything at all - the poster is talking about a standard tournament set up and pay out, but with points instead of money. I would certainly like to see this, and would play in these tournies. |

| What i was saying is that instead of 500 ftp for 9 people to recieve 1 $26 token each is if they had tourney for like 500ftp where it could have a $1,000 prize pool. Ill give you a example i just played the tourney for 500 ftp where the top 9 people got 1 $26 token each.There were 177 people who played in it with means total 88,500 ftp were spent in the tourney.The total prize pool was $236 how much money do you think was invested in 88,500 ftp and the give away is $236 total. To me this is not fare to the players. Example 2 the 500 ftp for the 200k tourney averages 75 to 100 playing in it 37,500 ftp at 75 players are invested one person wins a $216 ticket to the 200k tourney thats a horrabile average for a point tourney. Example 3 the 300 ftp tourney where the 3 final players get a $75 token average 100 to 150 players 30,000ftp are spent at 100 players for a $225 give away.Last one 50 ftp and one player recieves a $26 token come one if a 100 people play 5,000 ftp are spent for $26 give away. Come one a free roll has a $40 prize pool and you dont spend points there. I would like to hear some replies of what people think so this could change. I hope im not the only one that would like to see a points tourney for cash prizes. |

| I certainly would too. Being a low limit player, I don't rack up large amounts of points quickly, so the store is quite a waste, and these weak tournaments are hardly worth playing. |

| I also play low limit and it takes a long time to earn my full tilt points.The store is cool, but the point costs are pretty steep for someone like me.I would like to use the points somehow, but paying 50 points for only one paid spot is kinda ridiculous especially when its a token which you can't even break down for multiple tournies.Bottom line is for me my points are just about useless and i would love to see full tilt incorporate them better for us fish. |

Though I would like to see cash prizes for these tourneys as offered at UB and PokerStars, I do think the points tourneys are fair. The points we accumlate are a bonus and not something FTP has to do. Points are essentially a small fraction of money (100 pennies/7 FTP points = 14.28 cents/point) to be used to try to win other prizes in other tourneys. It's a nice benefit Full Tilt has offered, but cash prizes for the points tourneys would be even better. Just as an aside, feature requests should probably go into the Feature Request forum. |
