i think i have won while starting with this hand only once ever before. this is the most recent loss. does anyone win with this hand very often or at all? because i never do.

| Are you sure lucky? 1-2 razz isn't exactly known for people to be playing the absolute best hand there. Unless your opponent is a real tight player who only raises with a good hand, I can understand playing 5th and 6th street here. You can believe one of his opponets paired up if he raised originally, and as soon as he hits the 7 on 6th I think it's reasonable to go all-in if you're calling on 7th street anyway. |

From having terrible luck with A23 and always raising and re-raising on 3rd with it, I've sort of given up on raising so much on the small bet streets with it. I seem to lose with it all the time by bricking it up badly, so I usually just play it a bit slower and wait till 4th or 5th to put in raises.
That's just me and bad luck with that particular hand tho! |

I went through and looked at all of my A-2-3 starts here on Full Tilt over roughly the last 10 months...
Summary:
Won on 3rd street: 6 times
Won on 4th street: 10 times
Won on 5th street: 5 times
Won on 6th street: 2 times
Won at showdown: 9 times
Folded on 5th street: 4 times
Folded on 6th street: 1 time (and that was a bad fold)
Folded on 7th street: 3 times
Lost at showdown: 10 times
So that's 50 times I started perfect, of which I won 32 and lost 18.
Of the 19 hands that went to showdown, the end result was basically a tossup.
Anyway, those numbers don't deviate much from what I might have expected to see... |

well, i called because i figured that he paired his cards... then on 6th i had a wheel draw with a pretty decent hand already.
lost with A23 to start again today. ALWAYS have to brick i shouldve just folded this one on 4th.

On 6th ippraiase is showing A632. On 7th we really need to hit a 6 or a 4: any other card that comes isn't good for us. I don't see chasing for just a couple of cards.
Even if he paired up he still might have a hidden 4 or 5. It makes sense that he would because he kept betting. |

There are six unseen cards that our opponent might have in the hole that put him ahead of us on 6th street -- four 4s and two 5s.
We can also guess that he doesn't have two non-Ace, unpaired wheel cards in the hole, since he only called the reraise on 3rd street.
So let's give him credit for 1 good wheel card in the hole, either a 2, 3, 4, or 5. With three of these wheel cards (two 2s and a 3), we're ahead of him right now. With six of these wheel cards (four 4s and two 5s), he's ahead of us. So the way I figure it on 6th street, I'm behind 2/3 of the time and I'm ahead 1/3 of the time. No way I fold here; I have pot odds to call down just to see if my 7-5 low holds up. |

WOOOOOOOOW...
lost with A23 AGAIN today.
on fouth i had A236 and the other guy had 245Q, we both brick 5th, i catch 9 and he catches a pretty low card, (think it was a 7), on 6th, and then he catches an 8 on 7th
(it was a $10 hu razz sng)(i ended up winning anyway and that hand happened at a point where he was low, but it did get him some more chips so it didnt matter much THIS time) |
