I've never had a royal flush in hold'em or omaha. I've come close twice, once with a king high straight flush, another time in omaha with AKQ10c on the board with the Jc in my hand. The reverse of the original poster, more or less. So close, but so far...

It took me 2 years to get my first royal too, and I play at least 3 or 4 hours a day. I have yet to get one in hold 'em... My first came in a dealers choice game, playing Blind Man's Bluff. I may be the only person ever to pull that off.
