| Maybe if you raised more post flop instead of the Min you would have gotten him off. Not only that but then he re-raised you the Min and then you did it back...You should have raised a lot more. After that you seem fine just. I don't think you were going to get him off his hand after that 4 came off on the turn. I just think your post flop play did it for you. Need to bet more...like around the pot or just under. 500 right after the flop probably would have been good. If he called that then I would've said he is one of those donks that will call any pair. | hm, i thought for a second that this might have been a limit game which would have explained your flop play. but nope. you played this hand almost as poorly as you could possibly play it. he got ahead of you in a weird way but he could just as easily have had a flush or straight draw. you let him chase and he caught. |

I agree. Should've raised more post flop and then I might have questioned the other player's play. |

| Yeah, with a board that drawy and the shortstack sitting out, not busting is probably a lot more important than maximizing value. |
