Im talking like WSOP freerolls - as often as the NL ones pop up. Why can't they have a Omaha tourney just for the preliminary round, you get 1st, go to the second tourney and play NL hold em in that one.
I know the main event is NL holdem, but you can still play Omaha as a qualifier.

If you're talking about the main event, then it's probably easier and more logical to just keep it all as NLHE. It just doesn't make too much sense to play Omaha satellites for NLHE events.
However, Omaha freerolls/events to major Omaha events would be a different story all together. |
