I apologize ahead of time if this topic has been beaten to death and I thought mgmt said they were going to improve the situation. Why can't they run more of the 2k and 10k NL tourneys? It's abusive to make us sit and wait for a FREE sit and go, then lose out to some super fast mouser. Especially if you use a laptop like myself! And this isn't even a massive site like Party Poker or UB, yet these play tables are hard as hell to get on. PLEASE, look at adding more of these or making some kind of wait list so you don't have to play musical chairs to get a seat!
Thanks,
DPN |

| ABUSIVE? Don't you think that's a bit extreme? I think of abuse as being physical violence, maybe stealing your money, that sort of thing. Not offering enough free stuff doesn't qualify as abuse. While I'm sure it would be nice if FT had more of your SNGs, their first priority is to take care of the players playing for real money - the paying customers. Sorry. Understand, I do sympathize with you, it sucks, but it's not "abusive." |

good point jaconda. abusive is a term that should only be used when somebody physically or mentally abuses somebody.
if FTP "abuses" you by not giving you what you want, then leave |

You guys are way too literal on this one. I was just using a figure of speech. I still hold that it's wrong to make players sit and watch the scrolling list of games, then have to pounce like starving people for scraps of food to play a free S&G.
Obviously, I could and will go to MANY other sites and have no problem jumping right into a game. Just think mgmt set it up this way to make it people frustrated and play the cheaper real money ones. What other reason could it be? Can't tell me these things really draw from their servers or networks and cost them big bucks to offer.

Just wanted to comment on this from the perspective of someone who has a degree in computer science....... No, it wouldn't cost FTP much money to run more play money tournies. But re-writing an entire segment of the program (such as adding a waiting list for play money tournies) is very costly and time consuming.
That being said, I want you to know that I truly do sympathize with you. I played with play money for my first couple of months or so, and getting into the 2,000 and 10,000 play money SNG tournies was usually an exercise in frustration.
If you put a post under the "Feature Request" section, I'll gladly add my vote. |
