Do you think a pot raise on the flop or pot bet on the turn would've got a fold? Or is the end result inevitable? I don't know why they didn't bust me on the river by raising me all in.

I'm still learning Omaha, and know that slow-play is risky.. but I thought it would take quite a suckout to lose with aces full. By the time they called the turn bet I had them on either the case A, but the chance of that 7 hitting them... i just had to bet.

Hey there Flying_Kiwi.

I dont think you had any chance of getting a fold there.
Just one of those low limit type situations. Prolly wasn't even thinking about what you had?

Can't tell if you did or not, seems like you might have. But in any case I think you need to full pot bet flop, turn and river.

Flop - Most likely, any A is coming with ya, make them pay to him

Turn - Great card, A is probably still coming with ya and they couldn't have filled up yet

River - I would think 7 was a safe card. I'm potting here also. He hit it, but I would think it's unlikely he had A7. Unless I'm reading it wrong, I have no clue why he didn't re raise push. I'm very confused.

If you did bet pot on each round then I think you played it perfectly, bad result. 100% gotta think you win too when he just smooth calls, very odd.

You needed to pot this on the flop and turn because the fact is your full house is Aces full of 2's. Anyone with an Ace may still have 9 outs to create a better full house than you (assuming you don't have cards that counterfeit each other.) To put it into a Hold'Em perspective, it would be as if they were going on just a flush draw when you have the better hand. That's a much higher likelihood of someone improving to beat you than I think you thought it was.

Now, if you have a flop like ATA and your hand is something like AKJT you can afford to slowplay it a lot more. The only card that can really beat you is a Q, so the chances of getting sucked out are much lower.

I'm honestly baffled by the river call on Villain's part, but that's the beauty of Omaha donks.

NO, but I'm just not that good. But although there are 2 better potentiall boats out there at this level it is Just as likely someone hit the str8 rather ot just had the pocket 7's without the 8 that filled up, so I think in the long run you lose more often than not by folding the thierd best possible hand in this spot.
