|

Occassionally, FTP's client disconnects, while I'm still able to go online everywhere else. This is crazy with real money games.
Look at what just happened to me:

I clearly had this hand JJJKK, and yet I lose the money, not because of my computer or my ISP, but because FTP was defective. If FTP wants people to play poker at their site, they need to take care of problems like this, because reliability is probably the most important quality people look for in a place to play poker online. If any administrators see this, please help. This wasn't an expensive hand yet, but I think I deserve *at least* $5. |

Even if FTP's servers didn't crash, which may or may not have happened, something is wrong with FTP. It may be their client software. All I know, is that this has happened for others, and this is a problem FTP must be aware of. I just want them to deal with these problems, which hopefully will prompt them to get rid of any bugs that their software still has.
I shouldn't have to bear the burden of defects with FTP! My internet never went down. I wasn't downloading or uploading anything. Nothing happened on my end to mess up FTP. FTP just disconnected while I was in the middle of a winning hand. |

quick question.
if you were in the middle of a giant hand and you turned over the cards after an all in and you were drawing dead, then the site crashed and when you reconnected you had all of your money would you be complaining about FT being buggy and giving you money you dont deserve?
BTW that is a trick question in case you didnt notice |

That's part of internet poker. There is no refund owed, because you didn't win the hand. You seemed likely to win, but hadn't won.
And there is no disconnection protection, so play at your own risk. |

To answer your question whether I won or not --
Let FTP look at the other guys hand, and I can tell you it's more than quite likely that he was drawing dead. If he wasn't, then I am owed a percentage of the pot equal to the percent chance I had of winning. That is a very reasonable result.
For those willing to take the risk of losing a pot due to software problems, you are giving up on your rights too easily. I don't see how a profitable business could expect its customers to just take it like this. |

^ I totally agree.
If the RNG wasn't bad enough, the least FTP could do is refund this guy the money he WOULD have won from the pot. |

| I agree totally! I've noticed this happens a lot on Full Tilt. The amount of times i disconnect from server is ridicules. This only happens at Full Tilt and no other site. Nothing like what happen to this guy has happen to me yet(thankfully) but i will be one pissed off S.O.B if it dose. |

the disconnects are getting old.
last night the FTP client froze and took out ALL of my network connections. I had to restart my machine, restarting the network connections was useless.
Maybe FTP should spend less time rezising tables (with crappy fonts) and fix the important issues; like reliability. |

I had this several times. Although I don't play with real money (yet), It gets pretty annoying in freerolls towards the end, or even just in regular playing.
And yeah, update isn't that great. I like the whole Layout tab and bigger tables, but that's canceled out by the blurry cards and cheap font. Not worth it, I can deal with a small, visually-pleasing table. Helps with those several-hour-long tourneys. |

| Go to 'Requests' on the menu. Select 'Check my Disconnect Time Balance'. What does this mean? FTP can disconnect you for ??? - being naughty? Timing out too much? I dunno, and can't find out from their help system. |

| I've had disconnection problems lately, but I'm not too sure if it's on my side or Full Tilt's. I can play at PokerStars at the same time and have no problem over there, and be disconnected every couple hands on Full Tilt. But on the other hand, if it was Full Tilt's problem wouldn't everyone else get disconnected too? |

Interesting questions. Although I'm not sure if it will help some of the posters above you.
