| The second scenarion is smillar in that say now u are in the bb and have soemthign like 4567s and are facing a raise from mp with a rerais from the button that is rather fishy and raise almsost every hand regardless of whether it has been raised or not before it gets to him. He laso calls any bet on any street if he cathes a face high flush draw and calls if reraised preflop. So far I am enclined to call, but what if the mp player immediatly repots and the button then also insta repots???? This is a situation that comes up suprisingly often and usually I decide not to gamble and fold, but is it really a bad idea to go all in knowing that both players likely have a premium hand with either both holding AAxx or all high suited connectors at worst which I think is a good assumption with 2 almost all ins with insta repots, and therefore the flop is likely to be quite low and hit my hand in a big way a lot more often than it will help my 2 opponents. The reasoning is simmillar to this article http://www.fulltiltpoker.com/pro-tips-archive.php?player=Mike%20Matusow&tip=94, with the main difference being that I do not actully get to see if the flop does indeed hit my hand before commiting most of my chips, but with my initall call of the reraise I am now getting about 3/1 odds on my $ with what I feel is a very live hand against 2 opponents that I feel have an already made hand that is unlikely to improve as they are at the very least sharing most of their outs. Just running a couple of hands by teh odds calculator you are almost always at least about a third to win afainst 2 premium hands and if they both have AAxx single suited you can be over 50% to win depending on just how the suits play out and what the xx is. Add to that the impleid tilt odds and does calling in this spot look like a +EV move in the long run? |
