This guy and I werew talking shiit to eachother over some bs hand i won and caused me to call this obvious nuts.

Well considering you didn't raise the turn, it's not that obvious that you have the Ace high flush here (In fact, Lyle talks about doing things like this in the PLO section of SS2 for deception value.) Your call could've represented trips trying to boat up, or a smaller flush, and then you bet the river out trying to win the pot more than you betting this for value.
It's completely read dependent, but I know that moves like that can cause people to overvalue K-high flushes, especially if they had flopped a straight with the K-high flush draw or something. |

| I'm gonna agree with Kloaked here. A-high flush vs straight flush is just one of those hands you have a BR for. I'd certainly never fold here, and most of the time I'd raise. |

| Yep, I'd probably raise too. You just never expect the straight flush, but with A high flush and no pairs on the board... how can you fold? |

| Lost one of those myself. Can't lay down the A flush with no pairs on board. As someone already said, that's what a BR and BR management are for. |
