On two seperate nights within in a day or two of each other this is what happened to me.
Playing the $1/$2 table's I hit boats a total of 8 times, 4 times each night only to lose to someone getting four of a kinds.
In addition to this I had four of a kinds twice one night and once the other night only to lose twice to higher four of a kinds and once to a straight flush.
I've seen on TV the odds of getting 4 of a kind at over 4000 to one or maybe it was once in every 4400 hands, I'm not sure. So what's the odds of this happening against me once let alone 10 times making for a total of 13 hands with four of a kinds and one straight flush. All happening on two nights with in three days of each other!!
It's things like this that make me and others really, really wonder if all is legit. It had taken me a month to build up my account to where I was up over $500 playing mostly 0.50/1 tables, only to give it all back from such bad beats.
By the way all the losses came at the river making for all in's each time. |

| I'm up over 1000 in 5 days on there - despite tons of suckouts at low level limit. No complaints from me... |

I once got $50 given to my account once from Party, I think it was some bonus. I played this $50, and you would not believe the run of luck I had. I won ZERO, count'em ZERO hands on all of this 50 bucks (this includes sit N goes and ring games) ZERO hands in both areas.
Ouch! |

| I'm not wondering about Party Poker. I'm wondering which you are - a liar, or an idiot. |

I'm neither. Like the saying goes, why lie to family and friends because you dont want to hurt those you love and why lie to strangers because who the hell are they that you'd care to lie to. |

You got no cause calling me an idiot. Is it you feel I'm an idiot because I bet big with full houses and 4 of a kinds? If so I'd love to hear what type of hands you bet big with. Bottom pair no doubt. |

It just seems all too implausible.
You played two nights, got four full houses each night, and lost each time to quads?
Not only that, but over the course of those two nights, you got quads three times and lost every time!
This reminds me of the page at the end of Mike Caro's Five Card Draw section in the original Super System, where he calculates the odds against silly stories like this that he actually heard across the felt.
Unless you're playing six-card Omaha with wildcards, your story is so unlikely its ridiculous. Trillions to one against would be my conservative estimate.
By the way, have you ever thought about playing the bad beat jackpot tables? You'll make a bloody fortune. |

That's the entire point to my story. I could not believe it myself. If you read my thread you'll see it happened 8 times over 2 nights!
Another weird thing is 3 weeks ago I was playing holdem and out of 427 hands played that day I was delt pockt ace's 7 times and pocket kings 4 times. But for 3 days after this I didnt once see aces or kings, so the odds evened out at least in this instance.
*As for Sklansky he is playing a tourney on TV on fox sports called PokerStars II. During one session (6 players play down to 1 left for points, 10 for first 7 for second etc) Sklansky was delt pocket aces 5 times! He himself said he had no Idea what the odds were of that happening.

There is nothing irregular about this. I had the same thing happen to me. Some days it seems Aces and Kings follow me wherever I go, and then for a few days I'll go without seeing them at all. It's all part of variance and the statistical long run.

Even the improbable happen in real life, so why not online? |

I fail to see why you would ever leave PP. As things stand now, it's an obscenely profitable site for limit poker, if you can keep your cool after being sucked out on. As for your beats - I'm sorry. That sucks - massively. but, **** happens - need to move on.
On a happier, but quite unlikely note, I once got pocket aces 3 times in a row (live - and yes, I know I've told this story many many times on here - I think it illustrates my point quite well, though, so sorry). The odds of that are 10,648,000 to one against. Highly unlikely - but it happens. Sometimes it's a good thing, sometimes you get screwed with quads (not sure the stories are true, but even assuming they are). Life's a b.itch, then you die. Deal with it. |

I closed my account at PP because I left the country and wasnt sure when or if I was coming back. While away I read Phil Gordon's book, " The Real Deal" and when I did eventually come back to the states I started playing here.
As for if the stories are true. Think what you want, because as I said, never lie to friends or family because you dont want to hurt those you know or love, AND why lie to strangers because who the heck are they that you care what they think.
So my point is Jaconda I got no reason to lie about this or anything else I post.
An innocent person keeps talking of their innocence while a guilty person wants to change the subject. The same can be said about truth tellers and liars.

| Hand histories please. Until then, commenting on this is idle speculation at best. |
