i have a question, what to do with following hand:
had 55xx in bb and there was no raise so i checked and flop came aa5. the pot was 4 handed sb raised i reraised 3rd fold and 4th player called. so first player reraised again, so i was sure both players have an ace. how would you go on in this hand? i was short stacked so i got my chips in and hoped to survive. |

if your other 2 cards didnt involve a low draw possibility, i would fold on the flop......that hand will almost never win....an A is a key card in omaha hi/lo....there is 1 or both Aces out there, and there is surely a low draw, or 2.
at best, you are gambling to the river with a hand that cannot get more than 1/2 the pot(assuming you have no low draw), and is very vulnerable for getting the hi. |
