| I've noticed that Huck Seed has been playing almost daily for the past week or more, but they don't have a custom avatar for him yet. Is he signed with FullTilt now? |

If a player's name in the lobby's list of players at a table is in red, as HuckleberrySeed's is, then that player is a Full Tilt "pro." (I put "pro" in quotes only because a couple of us minor ones aren't really full-time pros.) Avatars can take quite a while to create -- mine took a couple of months.
Another new in-red pro is Farzad Bonyadi, who's been playing a lot of high-stakes NLH on Full Tilt. |

Steve... what you are saying is , that Mouth is a Full Tilt PRO now... and are the guys signed to ristricted contracts really not gonna be able to play on the WPT Circuit? ...Due to the contract line drama with the use of image.
Thanks... |

Mike Matusow has been a FT Pro since last summer.
There is no Full Tilt policy or prohibition against anyone playing WPT events. The few players who are not playing WPT events due to the contents of the WPT player release form made that decision as individuals. |

of course he is...do you realize he has his OWN poker site?
it wouldnt make sense for him to join FTP if he created his own site |

| I hope what you said about Negreanu is true. He's probably the best person they could sign a deal with right now. |
Now i heard the chances of him coming to FTP is very slim because before he represented Poker Mountain, Full Tilt offered a deal which Daniel called an "insulting, lowball offer". Right now it looks like he's going to start up his own poker room, Full Contact Poker. If this falls through, youre right, I hope FTP can sin him, he does like to wear jerseys, so I dont think he would be against wearing the FTP gear a lot. |
I know this is an old thread, but in googling what kind of sponsorship deals the pros get, I came across it and wanted to ask...
Does anyone know what kind of offers they get? I'm sure the deal Ivey got is different than the one Paul Wasicka got, but it has me curious... especially because I read on a website that Matusow gets $150k/month from Full Tilt... that can't be right. Maybe $150k/year? plus tournament buy-ins??

Dunno what kind of deal Matusow or Ivey has, however, a few weeks ago I chatted with Lee Watkinson during a tournament and he said he had small perks like entries to special tournaments, better rakeback, and full tilt poker points bonuses. Thats what he said to me and couldnt get any more info. I am sure Ivey has a better deal than Watkinson though. |

| Seems like you just need to win a 6 handed SNG and they will turn your name red. My god it seems like everyother player is a "pro" on here now. |

I read somewhere that they get paid an hourly salary for playing on the site (kinda like High Stakes Poker although not as much, I'm sure... I think they get $1000/hour on HSP).
I also read the pros get 100% rakeback. Gavin Smith confirmed this on the Nov 11 radio show on PokerRoad.com.
http://www.pokerroad.com/_/pokerroad_radio/11-11-07/
Gavin also said he gets a monthly salary and incentives for wearing FT gear when he makes a final table. |

| Where are all these pros in red coming from? Are they actually pros, or just players that have some sort of FTP deal? Have the guys in red on these tables now I havnt even heard of them. |
