Let me know what you all think...I had actually planned on a checkraise on the flop, but that didn't work out so well.
I called the all in knowing I was behind to a straight, but I figured I had close to the right odds to call knowing the guy after me was going all in also...Are these decent enough odds to draw to a FH?

You have roughly a 20% chance of filling up on the river assuming you have all your outs available. This pot does not give you the correct odds to chase for the full house.
Unless you had strong reason to suspect that someone will position bet or semi-bluff at it, there's no reason to check this flop. Go ahead and bet it out. At these stakes you'll give the flush and straight draws bad odds to continue, but they'll call it anyway. Also if they checked behind and the board paired, they're not going to be so willing to call you and your best hope for cash is to pray someone else got a boat.
Omaha is a high variance game, but give them the chance to make mistakes so you can profit from them. |

| I remember this hand from earlier today! I was actually very suprised you made the call knowing that the straight was a very real possibility. As far as your pot odds are concerned, you put in 1.95 to win 4.70..I don't think you're getting approximately 40% odds to fill up your FH. Plus at that point, everyone else was all in so you're not even getting implied odds. I think you hit the nail on the head when you said your check raise went for naugt. |

Thanks for the replies.....I thought I was getting close to 4-1 with my call, counting on the guy yet to act pushing also. I also figured that showdown was going to be free as they were both all in. That is my reasoning, plus I may have had a little micro stakes syndrome...It's only 2 bucks...what the hell I will call...
I have had a terrible run of cards in limit holdem and I think I might be giving PLO a shot for a while.
Holy crap with the 10% rake...At what limit does it go back down to 5%?
Thanks again. |

| I believe it goes back to 5% at .10/.25 games and higher. |

That's quite a switch. PLO is about the exact opposite, no, the evil mirror twin of FL holdem. I mean, forget about NL holdem, that's a safe haven compared to PLO. Which is why I love it. And at micro limits, it's about who can best deal with frustration |
