sorry for the double post...but jobe, i generally enjoy reading your posts, but i dont understand the purpose of coming into a thread just to question the talent of someone who is incredibly good at the game being talked about.
since you are a fan of the bad analogies and metaphors, this should suit: how come we all assume jobe is so smart and intelligent? have any of you ever read a book written by him?
i know you are smart and intelligent. i dont have to read a book by you to know that, just as i dont have to play with asf to know that hes great at razz (although i do). |

I'm not questioning his talent. I'm not even going far enough to question his talent. He's been calling himself the razz master since long before anybody cared. I think that's funny. Who goes around proclaiming themselves master of something that nobody cares about? The SHOOOICHPIMP! lollerskates!
You actually think he's "incredibly good"? He's so good that you truly can't believe it?
90% of why you think he's good is because he told you so. That doesn't say anything about whether he's actually good. I never said he wasn't. It's very important to him that we think he's good. That's usually a good indication that you're being bullsh*tted. Take it or leave it, just like I'm leaving that horrible attempted comparison about books and intelligence. |

I thought that analogy was apt, Jobe. I mean ... c'mon man, Pamela Anderson writed a book - and shes smart. Uh, I think Jenna Jameson writed one two.  |

and my horrible analogy wasnt writing a book, it was reading a book. i.e., i know bush is an idiot not by the fact that he has a speech, but by what he says. |
