|
| I've started to play Razz more than I ever have before. I've had a lot of success playing so far, playing $1 $2 Razz, I'm up $60 in a day and 1/2. I like to play NLHE, but for some reason the Razz games are ultra soft at the low stakes level. I better juice up all the money I can before it starts airing on TV. Anyways, can I get some advise from any good Razz players? (Im not sure if I need it with all the bad players out there.) |

What i normaly do is keep track of cards in play using the chatbox. Always complete with 3 under 8 and raise if 2 or more of your starting cards are already showing on others boards, less of a chance you will brick up with these cards already in play.
I like to play hands till 5th street before the limits go up. You can generaly see how your hand is going to turn out here with without putting to much money in the pot.
Also dont try to chase when u need to hit perfect, perfect, even if the other player's board looks sh!t you still need to catch perfect cards to beat him and will lose more money in the long run when it is just cheaper to fold.
Hope this helps your game. |

| If you have 3 to a wheel dont get to crazy on 3rd unless they have a 9 or higher, or youre against a shortstack. Wait til you make your hand to get crazy because imo razz is a game of patience. that A23 might look pretty against that 8 up, but when he hit 54 and you hit J9 youre probably screwed. By playing not as aggro on 3rd and 4th you can then minimize your loss if you brick and maximize your profit if you hit, by getting aggro on 5th to the river. Also on 4th if they reraised your completion and you have 4 to a 6 or a 7, and they bet on 4th, reraise back to find out where you stand in the hand. If they 3 bet you, they probably have a monster draw, but if they just call, theres a good chance the guy just paired. |

that's a really good idea to keep the cards in play in the chatbox, i can never remember which cards the other people were holding so that could really help |

I play the game a little different. If I have the best hand on 3 I want money in the pot. If the pot is raised on 3, the math is right to peal one off if you hit bad on 4 being that it's only a small bet to call.
Anyone plan to or playing currently? |

I can never read one of these threads without thinking, "is asfis actually good at razz, or is it that nobody plays razz, so we let him call himself king of razz because that's like saying I'm the best at juggling ladybugs?"
We can't really know without learning to play razz, and since that's not happening...oh what a box of puzzles |

He hasn't beaten me in a forum game yet. Maybe I'm the King of Razz. |

thats why I dominate in the 5$ and 10$ razz sngos that I play, and when I used to play 20$ razz sngos I dominated them as well. Hey Ive only made about 400$ playing razz so I guess I suck. |
