I was sitting in a live rebuy tournament. Silly tournament, I hate how they run them. Start you with 300 in chips and start the blinds at 25/25. Anytime you dip below 300, you can rebuy 300 more. The rebuys are crazy as all hell.
Anyways, my story, this guy raised ahead of me and then I looked down at pocket kings and I raised all in. Action folds around to him and he mucks his cards and looks at me.
"Did you have anything good?" he says.
"I went all in didnt I?" I said.
"He was like, well yea you did. I had pocket 2s and I wanted to call but I thought you had two overcards."
Straightest face I've ever seen from a player saying something obviously dumb like that. I could not control my laughter and I dont think anyone at the table got what I was laughing about when he said it, but I was in hysterics.

Then just to throw this out there. Guy bets a scary board with multiple straight and flush possiblities and another guy raises him all in. He thinks and calls and has the winning hand. Not the nuts, not even anything but pairs and he says to the other guy after the hand is resolved.
"I didn't want to call you, I thought you had the *insert flush/straight here*."
Synapsis. If you THOUGHT he had you beat... WTF are you calling for? Can't imagine why people constantly call poker, gambling?
