On the flop i didnt want something stupid to happen and i wanted the lows to pay to draw. On the turn ive just made the nut high but both opponents have significantly less than the pot and i want to make sure they are both committed if they are drawing, and wouldnt mind taking it down now to be honest. I think i went into protection mode too early on the flop since there wasnt really too many draws out, but im new at this so im not sure. how would you guys have played it? |

I wouldn't have played that hand preflop to be honest. That aside: great catches! There is definately something to say for the agressiveness on the flop where you catch top set and would wanna let people pay to draw out on you.
On the turn you are freerolling, still agressiveness might win you a whole pot instead of splitting one if the river brings a low. Make em pay to draw to their low
This one worked out fine for you, but there are numerous occasions in which pocket kings with little or no help will bite you in the ass, even if you make a set. Any set is vulnerable in omaha (especially hi lo) if you don't fill up. Be careful (how) to play them. |

| I also wouldn't have played that hand even on the button. If you are going to play high only hands then make sure that all 4 cards are high not just 2 or 3 of them, and try and get in in a later position or cheaply if you can. |

Have you given up on your 2-4 live limit games? I have not seen you post for a while in the limit section. |

I disagree. Two low cards can make a high pair playable. I've scooped many pots when an opponent or two got counterfeited on the river. |

Well thats a great way to play. Way too many people raise pre-flop with A-2 planning to hit a low, with little chance at hitting high. Play to scoop, when you aim to hit low even if you make your low hand your stacks not gonna get much bigger then it was to start the hand, and theres always the possibility that you'll get quartered. Avoid playing hands full of middle connectors cause even if you hit your straight your hand becomes very vulnerable to higher straights. |
