I think refusing to support charities because you like to kill small animals says a lot about the content of your character. |
...and that's not *necessarily* a bad thing....
Note: I don't know anything about the two charities mentioned, nor their stance on hunting, but if it's the extremist vibe I'm getting, I would agree, I wouldn't want to support that.
There has to be a wildlife/pet oriented charitable organization that isn't anti-hunting.
I'm surprised no one has recommended The Human fund
OK, on to the meat...

I agree. I would like to use only charities in which 75% or better of all donated money goes to the cause. This can be looked up on government websites. |

Aren't they also known as Medicines sans frontiers
If it's the same group of crazy French doctors then I definitely agree they are a charity worth supporting. |

| Not sure if the French organization is the same one or not. Any organization that goes to developing and impoverished countries to give medical aid is worth supporting though. |

| I know it's not a charity per se, and that it is more selfish, but how about one of the groups that are trying to help fight for our gaming rights. Like the PPA or AGA. |

they're a lobbying group, not a charity, aren't they? besides i think they get enough money from poker pros and gaming companies that they don't really need a couple hundred dollars raised from an online tournament |

| That's why I said "not a charity" and "selfish". As far as their resources are concerned, I won't speculate. However, out of the top 25 "causes" I support, this is in there. To realistically feel confident about supporting a charity, I like to have a good idea of what % of donations actually go to parties in need. |
