I have to agree with Pokeropie that I wouldn't support the series if the series ended up supporting and donating to anti-hunting groups...
I like the idea of groups like operation smile or doctors without borders...
As far a domestic groups, I like the Salvation Army, make a wish, Ronald McDonald house....Similar types of groups would get my blessing as well.
Groups that work with AIDS, Cancer, or Third World Debt reduction groups deserve the support that they get, but I think they organizations get enough operating money from the UN and individual countries that donate. Estimates are that the global AIDS fight will get $22.1 billion(US dollars) this year to help low and middle income coutries fight AIDS...for this reason I think FT and the players should support smaller groups that work on the single person level. If FT ends up donating 20K from this series, what difference is that going to make when these groups have operating budgets in the millions or even Billions...
That is why I say we should support Docs without borders and similar groups that go out and make a difference one person at a time...Give the money where it will make the most difference |

I wouldn't like it if there was an anti-hunting group on the list either but if I supported the majority of the charities, I would still try to play the series. Hunting by itself just doesn't top all the other good things a series like this would contribute to.
Again, I would prefer if there was no anti-hunting "charity" on the list though. |

There's a lot better causes than anti hunting to donate to. I'd rather see the cure for cancer than to see nobody hunting.. that's for sure. |

| I don't see how somebody can be against anti online gaming, but be for anti hunting. Either way it is pushing your morals on to someone else. |

+1 AIDS foundation
+1 Cancer Foundations
Defenders of Wildlife Foundation (they save the rare species or near extinct ones and natural habitat)
Also my wife and I sponsor a child through a program called Compassion. I think they could use a little extra help.
Also I know there is already a tournament that happens on a regular basis for this but I also support St. Judes through donations and I think this should be added also.

Besides Make A Wish I am putting out The Fisher House. (www.fisherhouse.org)
Think of it as a Ronald McDonald type of place except instead of kids, it is for familes of vets getting treatment at military and VA hospitals. Most the vets are from the recent wars. |

I dont want to waste effort on an anti-hunting charity either. There so many things way more important than that.
Someone said Micheal J Fox Foundation and it was skipped over. i like this one a lot. |

I checked out the link that gypsy provided for IFAW...
Today, with offices in 15 countries, IFAW is one of the largest animal welfare organizations in the world. The work of IFAW’s global team of campaigners, legal and political experts and scientists is concentrated in three areas: reducing commercial exploitation of wild animals; protecting wildlife habitats; and providing emergency relief to animals in distress.
It seems like a stretch to call that an "anti-hunting" charity. In fact, their website mentions protection of seals, dolphins, primates and elephants... not deer, quail and pheasants.
Maybe "anti-poaching" is a better term. |

| i dont care what is in the rotation to be honest because i am sure there will be plenty of charities i do believe in. But i will pick and choose from the list the charities i deem worthy. Those being ones that help humans...and yes i realize a balanced ecosystem helps humans but i would rather support something else. |
