Do you guys bet hard to try to win the whole pot outright? Or, if there's multiple low drawers, do you bet a value you'll know they call, and build the pot more by keeping them in?

I guess it depends on what level you are playing and the type of players at your table. Also what hand did you make and whats on the board because if you flopped the nut straight then there are still plenty of high hands that can beat you and will call even though they put you on a straight. If someone hit top set on the flop then they will more than likely call and you will have a chance of losing to a boat.At what point did you make your high hand?was it on the turn or the flop because you say there is a low DRAW out there so it can't be on the river. These are a few different things that will affect the way I bet this hand and it's pretty hard to say exactly how I would bet it with out knowing that stuff.

I'll give it a try though,I flopped quad aces after the turn and the board is a complete rainbow with 4 players including me in the hand.......

Four people call preflop (I call in the cut off,The Button calls,BB and SB)
The flop.....As,Ad,10c The hand is checked down and the turn comes.....As,Ad,10c,3h.

Wow,I guess I gave myself a tough decision here (lol)....hmmmmm.Just the particular mood that I'm in right now but I bet 2x the pot here and make it look like a possible low draw stealing the pot.

I actually don't like my check on the flop now that I think about it Laughing

let's say your turned your nut flush. there's low draws out there, do you bet the pot hard and try to take down the whole thing? Or, if you think there's multiple people in the pot who are trying to make their low, do you bet an amount they'll all call (1/2 the pot, 1/3 the pot) so that they all call, and then you end up splitting a bigger pot with some one else.

I used to think that taking down the whole pot is always better, but I recently played a hand where I had a nut flush made at the turn, and four other people were still in the hand. At this point, I'm thinking that some one else might have a flush already, but most of the people are still drawing to the low. I ended up better a little under half the pot, everyone called, and even though I only took down half, I got more than if I would've bet the pot hard and forced everyone out.

I know this is kind of vague, but generally, in hands where you've made your high and feel pretty comfortable that'll be the nuts when the river comes, do go for the whole pot first, or let your low drawers make their lows and take 1/2 the pot later, with the thought that the 1/2 after building it up will be more profitable.

depends, if you have the nut flush you can push. Nut straight, you can be 1/4, or a better st can river.

There's always the need to slow down if the board pairs. (30% of the time the river should pair the board -- 12/40).

Sometimes you can get a 2nd or 3rd low draw to fold, then the super low comes and counterfeits the man with A2, and you scoop.

If there's 3 opponents you can freely raise as a 1/4 still breaks even.
