I'm currently three-tabling the $20s for about a 20% ROI over a couple hundred samples. I would say I've played somewhere in the range of 700-1000 SNGs on Full Tilt and maintained an ROI in that vicinity. I follow the 30x buy in rule, I start playing $30 SNGs at $1000 etc. In deciding what roll I would need to triple-table 30's, should I still follow the 30x buy in roll or is it different since I have $99 in play at once. I know that the results from each tournament are independent but I've had many people tell me that I need a higher roll for multi-tabling. This is all assuming the same type of ROI at the 30's since I'd previously been double tabling them for months with success. I'm struggling finding anything on this topic so any help would be appreciated.

| You are going to want more than 30 buy-ins if that's the number of buy-ins you feel comfortable one tabling with, but you aren't going to need 90 buy-ins, this is too much. I'd say that 50 buy-ins should be enough to compensate for the higher varaince found three-tabling. |
