advice? what are your thoughts on how i played it? i don't get the call pre fourth but whatever.

He clearly doesn't have AA99, I don't see a way you can think your behind. I could only put him on 4 spades on 4th. Possibly starting w/ 3 baby spades since that'd call your complete.

Gotta assume he hit the flush on 7th and that's why the bet, but you gotta call. Odd hand, odd result. I don't see a way to play it different. Bad beat.

He called because he had the ducks. I'm generally not calling with a baby pair and a bad kicker, but that's why he called you. I would have slowed down and checked on fifth when my hand hadn't improved and he paired his nine. It's not a bad assumption that he was calling you down with a pair and now he either turned two pair or a set. Most likely two pair since he paired his 4th street and Llello folded a nine. I would have resumed betting on sixth when you made kings up. Two pair is good enough of the time in Stud to show the hand down. Sometimes you just get unlucky.

Oh and bobby has a horseshoe wedged up his @ss. Wink
