Played in a live tourney last night.
I think around 70 people started, and I managed to make it to the final 2. It went back and forth for a while, blinds were very high, 8,000/16,000 with a 2,000 ante. There were 280,000 in chips at the table. He had slightly more chips than I did.
Here's the hand:
Dealt to me (97)
Him: Calls 6,000
Me: Checks
Flops comes T68
(I almost jizz my pants)
Me: Checks
Him: goes all-in
Me: Calls
Him: Shows T4s, top pair.
Me: Shows 97, straight.
Turn comes T68 (T)
River comes T68 (T) (T)
Him: Wins tourney with quad tens.
Remember the look on Mikey McDermott face after losing to Teddy's aces full? That was me....though I don't remember Mikey crying.

| I don't think he's stating anything about being rigged. In fact I think gibby is trying to induce an argument. This gibby dude was viewing a table I was playing at last week trying to start an argument. Dude must not have any cash b/c he's never playing poker. |

I believe in poker gods. They giveth, and they taketh away.
That beat I took last night was the worst beat I've ever taken. I try to find out the percentages whenever I take a bad beat. With the nut straight I was a 97% favourite over my opponent, who had only top pair.
But in July I was again, heads up, and bluffed at the wrong time. I held Js4s, and bluffed all-in, and was quickly called by my opponent, who held AcTc. Miraculously, the board flushed, hearts, and we split the pot.
So in the end the cards even out. |

well, AT vs J4 is hardly straight vs one pair, but its a similar idea.
J and 4 are both live---ur really not worse then like 35-40% there |
