In a live $40 buy-in, 4 tables...I make the final 15 or so despite having an AQ as my best hand of the night (in which I actually chopped the pot on an All-In bet). I was right around the starting point of 5k in chips. I'm big blind with 10h, 5h...Small Blind calls, I check (table had folded all the way to the blinds). Flop comes out 10s 4h 2h...My opponnent goes All-In. I instantly call with my 10's and flush draw...SB (very loose player) flips over 2c 3s. Turn comes a J, River....Yup you guessed it, a 2. I'm sent packing.

Again, I'm getting in All-in Situation where I have the best hand and Outs and still lose. In this situation my opponnent had 3 outs (2h would have gave me the win). It's almost time to quit this game.

Well suprise, suprise. I dont know if I really would call that a true bad beat, sounds more like a bad play on your part some what. I understand you have the flush draw and top pair which is great and all and he draws out on you but did you really, really think your 10 with a crap kicker was the best hand??? I dont think you could have thought that with the other guy going all-in. Remember sometimes someone does have better cards than you, even loose crappy players still get good hands every now in then. I think you over valued your 10 with crappy kicker and got what was coming. I guess a over pair in his hand never crossed your mind, not that he had that but he could have. Just remember that if you dont have the Nutz chances are the other player does. Good Luck to you. From warm and sunny Ft Worth Texas this is Dan The Man Can.

Bad Play? It's late in the tournament, my chip count is well below the avg chip count, my M rating (Harrington on Hold-em fans will know what I'm referring too) was in the Redzone. I was in desperation mode and had a chance to double up with what I knew was the best hand (based upon not being raised pre-flop and my opponnents loose style) not to mention his **** all in bet which I had read like the sports section. You're truly an idiot if you think that was a bad decision on my part. I was dominating the hand.

We should hook up and play some Dan the Man can....

In a cash game, releasing the hand for all of the money is definitely correct, but in this tournament, the blinds are so big that even a limped pot such as this is valuable enough that this hand is strong enough to play for all the money.

dan ur just like pekker--ur pickin fights with everyone right now...why?

thats not a bad play in a tournament, and the SB goin all in, who knows what hes got. If you havent played much and dont have much of a stack you HAVE to play that hand.

Ok, boys - let's all just cool off and stop insulting each other. We're all adults, and should be able to make our points without insults.

I must be missing something 2h was on the flop so can't come and give you the win. The play was alright if you had a good read on the other player. I don't like the play only because a lot of players make a play with Ah3h or Ah5h and depending on how much his stack will be hurt may make an all in play.

I think the play was right because it was a SNG and you were short stacked. In a cash game or if you were medium stack or chip leader I think this would have been a very easy lay down. I would have been worried about a bigger pair than a 10 as you always have to "beware of the limper!"

The Streak is over...Finished in the money.

I've been working really hard at adjusting my game, risk taking based upon my M rating (Harrington on Hold-em term)...Yesterday I got in a desperation mode made a huge compack and was actually the chipleader with about 40 people to go. Had a rough couple of hands later but still earned a little cash.
