| To me bluffing is only good in certain situations, like to steal the blinds or when people r playing tight just to make the money. But some people r absolutely stupid wit bluffing. For example they will have 5k chips the blinds are 50-100 the avg. chip stack is 3200 and the pot will is 400 chips after a small raise preflop and checks after the flop and turn this idiot will bet 1k on a bluff and someone will call wit a medium pocket pair and he will lose. If the other person did fold it is still a greater difference if u lose then if u win. For Ex someone starts the hand wit 5K and if the other person folds he now has 5200 cuz half of that bet was his and if he loses he will hav 3800 u can lose 1200 but win 200 a 1 to 6 ratio in other words dont do it. U dont need to bluff to win tournaments u just hav to make good calls steal some blinds and u will be in good shape. |

I don't agree, and by the lack of replies, i believe many others don't either......bluffing is a BIG part of the game. I believe the most profitable bluff is the check-minimum raise, especially on the flop or river.
Stealing blinds will only last so long, after people start seeing flops cause they suspect you of trying to steal the blinds. You will find yourself being slow-played after the flop, or being called or raised after you try to stab at the flop that missed your hand.
GOOD DAY! |

| I do agree with Cubbies, and DO NOT agree with poker, any pot you can get is a decent one, bluffs set up for hands to follow........and its very hard to understand the story you are trying to relate.......try making your posts less wordy |
