Does 'mixed games' = HORSE? That's awesome!

They should really call the HA tables HO. I like the cheap HO tables.

The HA tables are a gold mine if you're good at Omaha. You get a lot of tables full of people that are Hold'Em oriented but clueless at Omaha (hey guys, slowplaying an A-5 straight in Omaha is smart.. right? right?) I haven't tried the horse ring games yet.

Kloaked, this post inspired me to check out a HA table for a few minutes. All I can say is 'thank you.' It doesn't seem like enough though...

FYI, I believe that the HA tables are Pot Limit format in case anyone was interested.

They are pot limit and in three tries I've turned a profit three times in the first orbit of Omaha, including felting one guy. I'm sure variance will kick me in the *** soon enough, but for the time being I Heart HA.

Sorry to UFO and Strasse for joining me last night. Strasse: I think your problem is that you're used to playing against people who know how to play Omaha and will fold their two pair to pressure. Also, I think you might play Omaha more in a tournament setting where it's easier to get people to fold. You just gotta play ABC on the HA tables and you'll turn a good profit. I can bet pot with top boat and get called by guys with sets or weak straights the whole way.

I just got felted at the HA table, i flopped a boat and some one got a bigger boat on the turn.

think I'll stick to limit until I regain my BR, I am going to go broke if this Karma keeps up

I think that's EXACTLY the reason they aren't called HO games. Wink

Apparently FTP likes HO's too - limits from .25/.50 to 200/400
