| FYI, auto-rate is based on 9max by default. You need to mess with your preferences and stuff to seperate 6max out and then find 6max rules you can import to auto-rate that data. |

I might try some cash tonight, might pour over some more stats.
Anyone here that uses PT know if Semi-loose Aggressive/Aggressive is bad for cash? |
Actually, from whenever I've seen Phil Ivey play, my PokerTracker tracked him for about 3k HH's, and he is just that. I believe another pro, online player Prahlad Friedman (aka Spirit Rock) is the same in my PT database. |
So your saying I'm just like Phil Ivey, how long does it take to get my life savings on here?
So maybe I do treat Cash like a tourny and fold when i got odds.
Also to record tables that your are watching you have to have PT on at the time updating? |
Lol, obviously not. All I was saying was that many successful players play that style, and I was merely giving you a few examples to illustrate that.
To record tables that you're watching, you not only have to have PT on (auto-firing), and you also need to have the tables up, not minimized. If you have them minimized, the HH's will not import (at least they don't in my case). |

DM, do those rules just apply for limit games, or do they go for both limit and NL? IMO, there should be seperate rules for both. Right? |

Quite right and its interesting that this difference points out the vast differences between limit and NL.
UFO: A person playing LAP or TAP or TAA should do fine at these limits as long as your post flop play is decent. |

I have tried everything to get other tables to data mine...I actually have to be dealt hands to get a hand history delivered... Any Ideas to fix this.
Also, I look out for SLAA players, they are usually solid players long term...I usually play back at Dice, as they are usually seeing too many hands 9 max ...
I have about 40k hands in various limits of FLHE, since I bought poker tracker...and I think it is one of the best things that I have come across for my online game.
We can keep this thread alive by asking questions and talking stats...I think it would be good for everyone who uses poker tracker to have this discussion...It wasn't until 2 weeks ago that I found out my standard deviation that is listed in PT...Didn't even know it was there before that. |

are you trying to get Observed hands recorded? i had to change the folder that PT uses to collect the HH to the default one.
It was on my UFO1947 folder inside the HH folder. |

How do you do FTP Tournament summaries for Poker Tracker. It will be fairly useless to me without as I rarely play cash games.
Any Guidance? |

I'm just getting started with PT, and not really a tournament guy, but I found this:
http://www.pokertracker.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=3256&sid=bc4eb005f12508c463d72ea5c0d6384b
The last post seems to indicate that there's a program that will generate the summary for you, but I haven't ever used it, so I couldn't tell you if/how it works. |
