So last night me and my friend are playing 2/2 at the Hard Rock here in Miami, FL. The Bad beat jackpot was bubbling, at $130,xxx, the highest its been was at $18x,xxx. My friend and i were talking about how it would probably be won that day. We played for 4 hours or so, until my friend depleted his roll for the day, so we decided to leave. Next day, my friend's father who went to the casino 3 hours after we left, told him that the bad beat was won. My friend asks which table was it, he says, it was the one near the cashier booth. So my friend asks, was it table number 4 (our table)? and his father says yes.
I know that if we did stay, that doesnt mean we would have definetly won, since the way the cards were being thrown in the muck would be different. But it still sucks to hear something like that. Atleast it didnt happen five minutes after we got up. |

| I was sitting at home one night getting ready to head to my local poker room for some gaming for the night. Friday night fills the room and the money just flows. I waited because I was busy playing online. I got to the casino about 2 hours later than I wanted to, before the people showed up and the bad beat of 68,000 got hit an hour before I arrived. |
