| Omaha Hi/Lo because it's where I'm losing most of my chips, since a) I see too many flops because 4 hole cards often seems promising and b) I still haven't learned that a lot of seemingly good hands get regularly beaten in Omaha. I guess the bottom line is I suck at it, so it's the one game in HORSE I'm not too fond of. |

| My answer was going to be an obvious Razz but then I thought about it and had to go with Stud Hi/Lo, followed by O8. I really enjoy Stud and Omaha (prefer PLO) but the split games suck. |
- I've gotten much better at Razz and actually enjoy the game now.
- I can pick my spots and usually profit in Stud8, so I'm cool with that too.
- I ****ing hate Limit O8. Even with tight hand selection, when I flop the best hand I'm usually up against strong redraws that hit. I lose half my stack every round of O8, then I have to win it back in the other four games. |

| I like the three low/split games, stud and holdem could be left out and I wouldn't cry (anyone for ORE?). But it really depends the table. I try to be reasonably competent at all of them, but if I get a "holdem" table (most players have an excellent grasp at holdem and generally a very good grasp at stud high), then I need to play supertight in these two rounds and then pillage in the other three. On the otherhand, if I'm up against seriously good lowball/split game players, then I am in for a long (or more probably short) SNG/MTT or I need to change tables if its a ring game. The beauty of the mixed game is it's great for the jack-of-all-trades and you can take the temperature of the table and see if it works for you. 8) |

Let me disclaim right off the bat that the main reason for my choice has to do with the small stakes level I play at.
Stud high.
At the small stakes level it is imperative that you are able to bet a strong hand and monitor your fishy opponents to see if they've sucked out on you yet or not.
IMO, stud high is the toughest game to keep track of because so many call down with 1 pair, a 3 flush, a 3 straight, or some other nonsense. With the two down cards its tough to tell how they are doing.
In contrast, O8 takes away a lot of the guesswork because you hold the nuts more frequently.
In Stud hi/low, you can tell if they are fishing for a low and you can reasonably keep track of how they are doing.
In razz - you can REALLY keep track of how they are doing.
I would go along with some of the others you said hold em. Plenty of chasers there too but I've simply altered my play in the holdem round to nothing but monsters and good draws. The monsters will hold up a little better in holdem. On the other hand, monsters in stud high will not hold up as well. If I only had a nickel for everytime i've started with trips and lost to a straight or flush on the riv.... |

| I hate the stud because it comes right after razz and sometimes I am not paying attention to the fact the game has changed. Like other comments, I fold the games I don't know well and make money on Razz and Holdem. I like Omaha, but it has taken a while to learn that pairs are pretty useless and that everyone else is bulding str8s and flushes. Stud is hard and high low is even harder, cause have to pay attention so much to the other guy's cards to try to figure what they are betting on. Love holdem, but limit is harder to play because everyone pays to see the river. I dislike limit a lot in holdem. |

You should be paying attention to the folded upcards in razz too, it usually makes a small difference but sometimes a big one. |

I wouldn't want to take any of the games out of HORSE. If anything I would want to add games. throw in a pineaple round between hold em and omaha. Break up those 2 stud rounds with a round of 2-7 triple draw lowball. Go ahead toss in an omaha hi round too. Its all good.
I also LOVE playing fixed limit games and find it reduces the luck factor a great deal in the game.
peace,
