|
|
Here we go again! Last week we had attendance drop a little bit...only 15 people showed up. While disappointing, it made it a lot easier to make it to the final table! I was travelling all week and haven't had time to post a recap...and at this point am probably just going to skip it. In any case, we've got a new one this week! Details below!
The tournament will be a $10 NL Hold'Em DS tournament, taking place on Tuesday, December 5th at 10:00 pm ET (7:00 pm PT). The winner will receive a complimentary PokerBling.com poker bracelet (along with regular cash payouts, of course).
The tourney can be found in the private section of the tournaments tab under the number #9268517
Tourney details:
Date: Dec. 5th at 10pm ET
Buy-in: $10+$1
Room #: #9268517
Password: pokerbling
Free poker bracelet awarded to winner! Just stick around and keep observer chat on if you make it to the final table and I'll be sure to collect info from the winner. Alternatively, you can IM me on my AIM sn: Daveeyboy or email me through the www.pokerbling.com Web site.
There are more details about the tournament and other great things (like Player of the Year Standings) at PokerBling's tournament homepage at www.pokerbling.com/tournaments.htm
Congratulations to last tournament's winner, Brandon Whitman.
Keating remains at the top of the Player of the Year standings, but gave up some ground to the up-and-coming PStar06 after Keating failed to make the final table for the first time ever. PStar06 placed second for the second time, bringing him up to 2nd place in the PoY standings. So very close to winning a bracelet twice now...maybe next time buddy.
Hope to you see you all there. Tell your friends! Don't forget, this tournament is open to everyone!

I hope everyone who has come to one of these tournaments has been enjoying them. I think they're run pretty well and the quality of play has been solid so far. Yes, people are taking bad beats, but there haven't been too many that were due to really bad play...which are the ones that hurt the most.
What I really want to do now is boost the attendance. 20 people or so is great, but I'd love to hit that 50 person mark. The more people, the more interesting everything gets, the more points final table appearances net, the more rivalries develop. I just haven't had any time to spread the word about the tournament other than on this message board. So I'm calling out to the FT forum regulars for help. Is there anyone out there that can help make this tournament more popular? Can anyone get out their and shout the gospel of the PokerBling Tourny?
If anyone is interested in helping market this tournament, word-of-mouth kinda stuff for the most part, let me know! I'll be happy to pay your buy-in for each tournament I hold. Contact me at info@pokerbling.com if you want to help and we'll talk about it.
I appreciate the support I've gotten from this community so far. I've had a blast playing in these tournaments every week, and hope to continue as the tournament grows in size and popularity.
Thanks,
David |

The tournaments are every Tuesday at 7pm PT.
I am planning on having one week this December where I will host three tournaments, building up to the end of the year. Keep an eye out on these forums, my myspace page at www.myspace.com/pokerbling or my homepage at www.pokerbling.com for updates on that.
Thanks,
David |

OK then thanks daveeyboy.
I also read above that you are willing to pay an entry fee if people spread the word.
If that is still available, then i'll happily spread the word about PokerBling Tournements.
Im going to meantion it in different topics and I am going to Start a new Post in a couple of topic rooms.
My personal email address is christal_meth@hotmail.com, send me an email when you have seen some of the advertising I have done so we can work something out bro.
Peace. |

| 10pm is a lttle on the late side for us who live in the east coast can it be scheduled about an hour earlier? Maybe you get more players to join. |

| I personally love the 7pm west coast time. That's about 5 minutes after I get home so I should be playing in it this week. |

I tried doing the 6pm PT time (9pm ET) and a lot of people said they couldn't make it home in time to get in it. I may play around with the time in the future, but I think I'll stick with 7pm PT until the end of the year at least.
A lot of east-coasters said they play poker pretty late anyway, so the time wasn't too hard for them. |

I'm looking forward to playing this Tuesday. I usually work nights, but I got lucky and have that night off this week.
I'm on the East Coast, and have missed some of the Forum Tourney's because they start so late. Maybe you can vary the start time occasionally. |
